Isaac and I have never been to the Sundance Film Festival before this year! When Isaac's company offered us their access passes to use for the weekend, we couldn't resist. We drove up to Park City and found a BOMB parking spot. It was snowing and so charming in downtown! We went to a couple sponsor tents, got some hot chocolate, bought our favorite caramel apple from Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory, went to the filmmaker's lounge, and held hands walking on Main Street. I love spending time with my handsome husband!
I HAVE NOT BLOGGED IN SUCH A LONG TIME. I need to catch up because I love looking back at posts from last year and remembering what I was doing!
Isaac and I decided that we wanted to be hard core this year and cut down our own Christmas tree. We drove up the canyon and found a spot to hike up and look around. We went up about half a mile, and found a skinny, perfect Charlie Brown Christmas tree. It was so much fun! It was snowing too, which made it even more magical.
I haven't posted in forever! Honestly, I use my instagram way more. But I love blogging still, of course. I have lots of pictures to post on here in the next couple weeks, so stay tuned for that!
I just remembered something that Isaac did a couple months ago that I wanted to document so that I remember it forever...
One night a couple of months ago, Isaac had already gotten in bed and fallen asleep, while I was still going through my night routine. This boy falls asleep faster than you can say "bueno." I finally finished getting ready and headed over to our room to hop in bed for the night. I found Isaac asleep ON MY SIDE. He doesn't usually cross the middle line over onto my side, it's usually me crossing the line haha. I have this thing where I always have to sleep on the right side of the bed, it's definitely psychological. Anyways, I nudged Isaac and asked him, "Honey, can you scoot over a little bit?" In the most compliant, little boy voice he said, "Oh yeah sure sure...." Then he proceeded to count the number of times he scooted over onto his side of the bed. He was still laying down at this point, so he was moving like an inchworm. "1............2..........3............4.................................................5," he counted out loud. He still was on my side, so I asked again, "Honey, can you scoot over just two scoots more?" He responded, "Oh yeah sure sure........1......2."
I thought it was the most hilarious thing in the world that he was counting how many times he scooted over onto his side, especially because he was so tired and probably doesn't remember it at all. Yeah, it was adorable. I just love him.
